Condemnation and Eminent Domain
We have extensive experience handling condemnation cases. Our firm has had the privilege of representing the Georgia Department of Transportation through the Georgia Attorney General’s office for more than thirty years. All partners of the firm have appointments as special assistant attorney generals for the State of Georgia.
In addition to representing the Georgia Department of Transportation, our firm provides thorough representation of individuals and businesses whose property is being acquired by condemning authorities other than the Georgia Department of Transportation. For example, we have provided effective legal representation to clients where the condemning authority is any municipality, county or public utility. We advocate the interests of our clients to seek a resolution of their disputes so they obtain just and adequate compensation for their property interests being acquired by the condemning authority.
